March data signal a slowdown in growth in the French manufacturing sector at the end of the first quarter of 2018. The expansion rates of new orders and new export orders are indeed falling back, leading to slower growth in employment, purchasing activity and production. However, increases in all these variables remain solid. At the same time, business confidence is at one of its highest levels since data collection began in 2012. More information here

Once again this year, find us on stand 1G91 at the Midest trade show in Villepinte, Paris. We look forward to welcoming you from March 27 to 30, 2018. We look forward to seeing you there!

Strong growth in the French manufacturing sector continued in the first quarter of 2018, albeit at a slower pace than observed in December and January. February's data also point to a moderation in the rise in the overall volume of new orders and new export orders, a trend leading to a slowdown in the (still marked) expansion of employment, purchasing activity and production. At the same time, French manufacturers' confidence strengthened for the sixth consecutive month, reaching its highest level since the start of the survey. Purchasing and selling prices continue to rise sharply, with inflation rates declining very slightly compared with January. More information here

Strong growth in the French manufacturing sector continued in January, with production, new orders and employment continuing to record historically high rates of expansion, albeit slightly down on December. The pace of demand growth continues to outstrip that of capacity expansion, as evidenced by the acceleration in the rise in production backlogs observed during the month. A sign of a favourable economic environment, this trend is giving manufacturers cause for optimism, with confidence levels reaching their highest level since data collection began five and a half years ago. Following our audit in December, we are pleased to announce that our ISO 9001 certification has been renewed.

AB fonderie took part in 2 days of business meetings with Swiss construction industry players. An interesting meeting place for developing export business.
